Winsome Sinclair and Associates Internship Program – WSAIP
The WSA internship program is seeking high-energy, committed individuals that are interested in learning both the business and artistic side of the Entertainment business. Participants in the program work closely with entertainment professionals learning the in and outs of marketing services, completing assignments, and building working relationships in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
About WSA: WSA engages in three distinct and interrelated businesses: Casting, Project Management and Development, and Production. Through these businesses and the system in which they exist, WSA manifests its commitment to merging talented and committed entertainment professionals with bone fide business opportunities in order to achieve powerful and extraordinary results.
Duties: Interns whether working in Casting, PMD, or Production are general staff and will be challenged to show their commitment to the core principles of WSA. Interns play an important role in communicating with potential clients, current clients and others about the nature of the services we provide to the market. As general staff, interns will be challenged to become active in any and all areas of activity within a respective business segment and throughout the firm. Interns are challenged to take full advantage of the learning experience involved with being associated with the members of WSA.
Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalency is required; some experience in film, television, or video is preferred; a willingness to work flexible hours is required; an intern must be highly organized and detail oriented; an intern must have good verbal and written communication skills; and a working knowledge of standard MS Office software will be preferred. Only committed, artistic, energetic, entrepreneurial, and business-minded need apply. A high level of honesty and professional integrity will be required for all those participating in the program.
This internship is non-paid. However, swift advancement to a paid level position is possible and is encouraged! Interns must be able to make a six month commitment to the program. Part-time and full-time positions are available. College credit may be available to those who are eligible.
